CabPay is a Mobile Point of Sale (mPOS) payment system from Cabvision Network Limited (Cabvision). The CabPay Payment Device is paired with the drivers smart device via Bluetooth technology, thereby enabling the passenger to pay by credit, debit, contactless or smart devices using Apple or Android Pay.
The CabPayPro is a fully approved TfL payment system that is available from just £299.99 (inc. VAT), This price covers everything you require to be 'TfL Compliant', including fitting and there are no hidden costs.
The transaction fees on Pay-As-You-Go plans for all major, corporate and international card types including American Express are 1.99% + 10p per transaction.
The transaction fees on contracted plans for all major, corporate and international card types including American Express are 2.95% + 16p per transaction.
There is no upfront equipment cost to the driver (of £299.99 inc vat) when entering a contract, however, transaction fees are 2.95% + 16p per transaction.
Contracts are for an initial 24 months and are available only to London based drivers. There are Monthly Support Fees of £20.00 (inc vat) only if the driver fails to transact £1,200.00 per calendar month.
There are no monthly Support Fees with Pay-As-You-Go plans or minimum usage. There is no tie-in period.
You shall need to agree to the CabPay T&C's before downloading the application.
Driver settlements are made the next day, 7 days a week, for all payments processed before midnight. Bank Holiday transactions are paid on the next working day although we aim to deliver settlement the next day, every day!
Cabvision offer support for CabPay transactions. The transaction is supported 24/7 via Cabvision's UK based help-desk. The help-desk only supports processing of the transactions, if you need technical advice, please visit our help pages.
There are no Support Fees, minimum usage or additional transaction costs. One simple to understand Transaction Fee. The Driver is responsible for purchasing the hardware. To use the CabPay Payment Device, Driver requires a smart device, such as a mobile phone or tablet.
If you sell your taxi and require a reinstallation the charge with Cabvision is £50.00 + VAT. You could contact another installer of your choice if that is your preference.
